15th Annual National Trails Day at Bur-Mil Park

The 15th annual National Trails Day will be held at Bur-Mil Park on Saturday, June 2 from 9 am-12 noon, rain or shine. This nationally-celebrated event will feature free activities such as geocaching, multiple hikes, gear demonstrations, mountain bike clinics and rides for beginners and advanced riders, and a Green Living Expo with educational exhibits and live music. In addition, a free raffle will be held with great prizes, including a one-night stay at the Proximity Hotel. Registration is also underway for the 3rd annual Trail Mix 5K fundraiser race that begins at 8 am, using both the paved greenway and natural surface trail. The long hike starts at 7:30 am, followed by an intermediate hike at 8 am. The Green Living Expo and Trail Mix 5K awards ceremony begin at 9 am and concludes with the free raffle at 11:30 am.
